PHP Developer with Laravel

We are looking for a Laravel / PHP Developer to join our design and development team. We build custom product business management systems using the latest technologies to improve businesses. Your role will involve working on a range of projects including business systems and client-facing applications.

You must be confident to present your creative ideas both internally and externally.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a desire to manage their own projects and to work collaboratively with the Team. You will be someone who can support growth and expansion expand and you will have the opportunity to and need to have the ability to contribute to many aspects of our business.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Good level of core PHP ability and demonstrable existing PHP experience
  • Demonstrable knowledge of basic web technologies including HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Experience working within a PHP MVC framework like Laravel, Symphony 3
  • Experience consuming RESTful APIs
  • Understanding of and ability to apply core SOLID concepts of OOP programming
  • Good knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL relational databases, version control tools and of developing basic web services
  • Knowledge with Magento2
  • Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
  • An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Ability to communicate with a team and customers effectively.


  • Writing 'clean', well-designed PHP
  • Building efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
  • Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers
  • Troubleshooting, testing and maintaining our core products and client work
  • Solving complex performance problems and architectural challenges
  • Development on popular PHP frameworks and libraries
  • Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Following industry best practices
